以下是外教Phil发给我在浙江的一个同学的E-mail中他对小日本入常一事的态度:
Regrading the Japanese question, I TOTALLY agree with China and the
other countries who oppose Japan's membership. I am aware of what the
Japanese did in China, and I think it is disgusting and offensive that they are
still denying their evil actions. As you know, in World War 2 Germany
committed horrendous crimes, but they have admitted it and moved forward.
Germany is STILL very conscious of what happened, and on many occasions when I
have visited Germany I have spoken to people about it and they are genuinely
ashamed. They admit to their sins and make sure the young people are
made aware of what happened – they do not try to hide the facts or lie about
events. I think that is a credit to the German people. I know that
the Japanese change their history books, and even have a 'shrine' for their
'heroes' which contain names of murderous, cowardly, evil pigs who
committed unspeakable atrocoties in China. I think that is an unforgiveable
insult to the memory of the people who suffered so badly at the hands of the
Japanese and an insult to China. In my opinion, there is NO place in the UN for
people who behave in this way. We can not ignore history, because that
is what shapes the future.
令我意外的是他居然用pig一词来形容小日本!
小日本,不要脸!!!!
